Arnel is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) who was born in the Philippines but raised in Abbotsford, BC. He attended a local high school and studied at Kwantlen Polytechnic University, building the foundation for a career dedicated to helping local business owners succeed.

Arnel spent fifteen years with Murray Mackenzie & Co. before the practice merged with Halo CPAs, developing a wealth of hands-on experience in accounting, assurance, and tax for owner-managed businesses. Over that time, he built lasting relationships with clients across the Fraser Valley, earning a reputation for reliability, attention to detail, and genuine care for the people he serves. He works closely with clients on their bookkeeping, financial statements, compilations, reviews, and year-end filings, making sure everything is accurate, compliant, and delivered on time.

Outside of work, Arnel loves spending time with his wife Andrea and children Claire and Brady. Arnel is an avid sports fan and has a lifelong love of basketball, a sport that he and Randy bonded over. He is also an avid tennis player and cyclist. He can often be found riding the backroads of the Fraser Valley or hitting that furry yellow ball on the local courts.
